More details on Inside Olympia tonight

I just heard from Austin Jenkins, host of Inside Olympia, which you can watch in the convenience of your home at 7 and 10 p.m. tonight (or anytime at TVW.org).

Here’s what he said:

“I’m interviewing newly-elected House budget committee chair Kelli Linville, D-Bellingham and Senator Joe Zarelli, R-Ridgefield, the ranking Republican on the Senate budget committee. The weight of a $6 billion (and growing) shortfall is on their shoulders – particularly on Linville’s shoulders since Democrats are in control of the Legislature.
We’ll talk about the likelihood of a federal bailout to help balance the budget. Whether taxes are on or off the table?”

Austin also asks: Why is this a budget crisis if state revenues are still growing?
