In one hour: Gov. Gregoire on the issue of Arkansas parolees

Gov. Chris Gregoire is holding a press conference at 2:30 today — which will be live on TVW — on whether Washington state should accept parolees from Arkansas in response to the execution of four police officers over the weekend.

Check back here in 30 minutes — I’ll post Austin Jenkins’ exclusive interview with Gregoire this morning, in which she says former Gov. and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee pardoned an inordinate number of criminals and his state has taken a hands-off approach to their management. She says that means Washington will be closing its doors to Arkansan parolees.
