On this episode of Legislative Week-in-Review:

-The House Transportation Committee held a public hearing on a motor vehicle excise tax collection bill

-The MVET collection bill was also discussed and passed out of committee during executive session.

-The House Technology and EconomicĀ Development and IT Committee held a public hearing on an ISP consumer privacy bill. The same committee heard the ISP bill in executive session.

-The Senate Majority Coalition Caucus and Democratic Leadership held weekly media availabilities

-The House debated a bill regarding state compliance with the federal REAL ID act

-House members debated a bill regarding distracted driving

-The House debated a bill regarding sunscreen usage in public schools
