About Washington to Washington:

Washington to Washington looks at current public policy issues from both Washingtons – Washington state and Washington, D.C.  Co-host Jennifer Huntley covers the ground here in Washington state, and Tammy Thueringer co-hosts from the nation’s Capitol.



Washington to Washington is produced periodically. New episodes premiere the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm and repeat frequently thereafter.


Meet the Hosts:


Jennifer Huntley

Jennifer Huntley is co-host of Washington to Washington and reports from Washington state. Prior to her work on the show, Huntley both produced and hosted a number of election night specials for TVW. She also helped create and served as the original host for TVW’s weekly public affairs show, The Impact. Huntley spent ten years in local news as a reporter and anchor. She has covered everything from hurricanes to forest fires to the political climate of places like New Orleans, Louisiana. She was part of a team of journalists that was honored with a Peabody award for their coverage of Hurricane Katrina. Huntley graduated from New York University with a degree in Communications Studies.



Tammy Thueringer

Tammy Thueringer is co-host of Washington to Washington and reports from Washington, DC. She is also a producer for C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, the network’s signature call-in program. Thueringer joined C-SPAN in 2015 as a politics producer covering the 2016 presidential campaign. She previously covered the White House for Bloomberg News, worked for the BBC in London, CBS in Chicago, and KING-TV/NWCN in Seattle. Thueringer graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Political Science as well as a degree in Communication from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. She has a Master of Journalism from Northwestern University.
